A Sonnet on Change

A seed grows into a tree so tall,
Nourished well by the shining Sun.
The tree keeps providing for all,
Even after when its life is done.

A life full of fun and cheers,
So much so we don't take stock.
In a blink, it turns to tears,
Leaving us in a state of shock.

Sometimes, 'tis simply too rapid,
Like when a bubble popped disappears.
Yet other times, its pace is tepid,
Like when from coal a diamond appears!

Indeed, there is almost nothing that is constant.
Some change over eons, and some in an instant.
